Mrs. Kathleen Seeger To All Instructors

Hello! My name is Kathleen Seeger, and I just completed my 20th year of homeschooling our 5 children, 4 of whom have graduated so far. I have a BA in Psychology, and, prior to becoming a mother, spent 10 years doing inner-city social work. Some of my sweetest memories from those years were sharing the wonders of God’s creation with my clients, both children and adults, when the opportunity arose. Incorporating that wonder and appreciation for the natural world certainly continued as a constant thread through the years of raising and homeschooling my own children, and I have also been blessed to share with children from other families in various homeschool co-op classes. Another long-term passion has been living books, which led me to open the Living Education Library, a living book lending library for homeschooling families, over 10 years ago. I look forward to sharing all of these gifts from God; faith, beauty in nature, and lovely living books, with the Joy children in Nature Study this year.
